Full accounting function including all typical and relevant tasks: debtors & creditors management, stock control, cash handling, payment processing, recons, etc.
Making effective use of SYSPRO to ensuring financial data accuracy by managing and verifying inputs and the internal processing within the system
Provide financial reports to management, shareholders and other key stakeholders
Interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
Maintain the financial health of the organization, including tight cash-flow management
Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the budget and growth plan
Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Responsible for all operations of the finance department, setting and meeting of goals and objectives
Prepare the company’s budget
Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
Ensure compliance to all relevant government regulations, policies, internal controls and key agreements with key stakeholders and funders

Minimum Requirements…

Proficient user of ERP software
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
Solid knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
BS/MA degree in Finance or Accounting
Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
Min 8 years experience in an accounting department at a manufacturing company with a sound understanding of typical manufacturing and operations processes and respective financial implications, including all stock movements
Min 5 years experience in a financial management role, with staff reporting into the role
Min 3 years experience in holding management and data accuracy responsibility of a professional ERP system such as SAP, SYSPRO or similar
Experienced in managing corporate governance and compliance to professional standards in a large corporate or investor-backed company
Ideally EE candidate
